Blackmagic Design is a digital cinema company located in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The company designs and manufactures broadcast and cinema hardware.
Brief History
The business was founded by Grant Petty in 2001 and released their very first product in 2002, a catch card for macOS called DeckLink. In 2005 the company launched many other products, including the household of PCIe converters and the FrameLink family of software. At the 2012 NAB Show, they announced their first Cinema Camera.
